The return of the Largest UCI Race! (Aug. 29-30, 2026)
THE EVENT
The Philadelphia Cycling Classic is making a comeback after a nine-year hiatus, poised to be the largest UCI Cycling Race in the USA. Established in 1985, the event attracted some of the biggest national and international teams from around the globe, including notable names such as the 7-Eleven Team, CSC, and US Postal, and drew over 300,000 spectators along the course.
The 13.5-mile route winds through the city, with crowds gathering "four deep" on the famous Manayunk Hill, culminating on the main drive towards the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art.
New for 2026, the event will feature both men’s and women’s races, promoting inclusivity on Sunday, August 30. The two-day Fan Festival will showcase over 200 vendors, along with music, food, and drinks—completely free to attend! Mark your calendars for August 29-30, 2026.
